Accessibility for Travellers with Disabilities

Accessibility for Travellers with Disabilities

Singapore International Airport provides various facilities to help those with both visible and invisible disabilities. If you have reduced mobility, you can request special assistance from your travel agent or airline up to 48 hours before you arrive at the airport.

Changi Airport provides complimentary wheelchairs on a first-come, first-served basis. There are also accessible elevators, ramps, changing rooms, toilets, and hearing enhancement systems throughout the airport.

If you have an invisible disability, you can choose to wear a Hidden Disability lanyard or a “May I Have A Seat please?” lanyard to help you get around the airport. The airport has also teamed up with the Rainbox Centre to provide detailed guides on how to navigate the space, complete with Singapore Changi Airport photos. This along with the trained Care Ambassadors on site are designed to help support those with autism, anxiety, dementia, and others as they travel.
