Airport Shuttle Services from Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport
There are three public shuttle options to get you from Paris Charles de Gaulle (CDG) Airport to the city centre of Paris. The first and most utilised is the Le Bus Direct, which will take you to three stops within the city in 60 minutes and cost 17€. The second option is the Roissybus service, which takes around the same time of 60 minutes, but is cheaper at only 11.50€. Finally the 351/350 buses and the Noctilien/Night Line buses are public bus services which are cheaper at only 6€ per transfer, but they are much longer journey times as they make many more stops along the way, so set aside around 80 minutes for these bus services.
Roissybus to Paris-Opera
The Roissybus is one of the most direct methods of reaching the city centre of Paris. The shuttle runs frequently (between every 15 - 30 minutes) for long hours during the day so there is a likelihood of it suiting your needs. The bus goes between the airport and Paris Opera in the central city direct, but is subject to traffic conditions, so the approximate time of the journey may vary. Paris-Opera is a good place for those wishing to take further public transport options to their destination.
Le Bus to City Centre
Le Bus is a direct shuttle into the city centre, stopping at three major locations on the way - Porte Maillot, Etoile Champs-Elysées and Trocadero which are all major tourist hotspots and good places to take extra transportation from. The price is quite a bit higher than a regular bus, however the journey is likely more comfortable as the bus is more of a coach, with storage optional underneath.
N140 & 143 Noctilien/Night Line to Gare de L'est
Both the N140 and the N143 lines travel to the East Train Station and transport hub, where you can catch multiple onward international or intercity trains or metro services. Both have slightly different stops along the way, so it is best to consult the timetable if you are not travelling directly to Gare de L'Est. The buses are rather infrequent, departing every 30 - 60 minutes. The N143 can be a little quicker than the N140, taking only 60 minutes in good traffic. Both buses stop at Terminals 1, 2 and 3.
Bus 350 to Gare de L'Est
The 350 bus is a public transfer option that comes at a much cheaper price than the designated airport bus services, however the journey times can be much longer due to the amount of stops. The bus travels from the airport to the Gare de L'Est, or East Train Station, which provides multiple transport options via metro, train or taxi to reach your next destination.
Bus 351 to Place de la Nation
Bus 351 is another public bus service that travels to Place de la Nation, a square on the edge of the city centre. The Place de la Nation is nearby many metro stops and hotels, so is a good option if you are travelling to or staying in this side of the city. The journey is a little further than other bus lines and therefore can take a little longer to reach the final destination. The hours are also much shorter than the other lines which can also be an inconvenience.
