How to get from Kerry Airport to Dingle

Unfortunately, there’s no direct bus line to Dingle. You must take multiple buses from Kerry Airport to Dingle town centre. First, you will need to take the Bus Eireann line 40 bus to the Tralee bus station, then take the 275 line from there to Dingle. The total journey time will be around 2 hours and 30 minutes, excluding waiting time and the time it takes to navigate to your final destination in Dingle from the bus stop. 

The cost of a one-way ticket on the line 40 bus will be €4 and the cost for the 275 bus will be €11. This gives the total cost of taking these two combined buses from Kerry Airport to Tralee to Dingle €15 per person.

Although line 275 runs from Tralee to Dingle multiple times a day, line 40 to Tralee only runs three times a day at 10:55, 11:15 and 11:55. This means that taking the bus is not a transfer option if you land after these times. An alternative option is to take a taxi from the airport to Tralee bus station and catch the bus to Dingle, but keep in mind this will add additional cost to your transfer. Once you reach Tralee, you will also need to figure out how to get to your hotel by walking with your luggage, taking another bus, or getting a short ride in a local taxi.
