Firstly, the No. 86 bus, an express bus line that departs from both airport terminals and ends at Hanoi Train Station taking 1 hour to reach. Alternatively, buses No. 7, 17, and 90 take 1 hour 30 minutes to get to downtown. The bus terminal No. 7 is at Kim Ma Bus Station, the bus terminal for bus No. 17 is at Long Bien Station, and the terminal for bus No. 90 is at Kim Ma and Nhat Tan Bridge.

Bus stops for No. 7 and 17 are only outside terminal 1, and Express bus No. 86 and bus No. 90 are located outside both Hanoi airport terminals.

Moreover, buses No. 7, 17, and 90 require that you stand during the journey, which can be difficult with your luggage.
