You can find the official white Cairo airport taxis located just outside of Terminal 1, 2 and 3. Simply look for the line of cars and make your way to the first one.

The public shuttle bus from Cairo airport is located in the Bus Station at Terminal 1. Walk to the Bus Station and look for bus number 111 to Shoubra or bus number 381 to Imbaba. If you land in Terminal 2 or 3, you will need to take the free airport shuttle bus to Terminal 1 first.

Convenience

Although taking the bus into the city centre is a very cheap Cairo airport transport option, it’s not the most convenient. Not only does the bus take double the travel time of a taxi, if you land after 18:00, there are no buses running, so you will have to wait until the morning or choose a different mode of transportation.
