How to get from Granada Airport to the City Centre

Granada Airport (GRX) provides two methods of transport into the city centre – taxi and bus. The airport is located around 18 km west of the city. Both methods are available from just outside the arrivals terminal at the airport. Due to bus schedules, hiring a Granada airport taxi is the most efficient method of getting into the city, taking around 20 minutes with a cost of around €35. The bus is available at a much cheaper price of €4 but takes around 45 minutes to reach the centre of the city.

How to get from Granada Airport to centre by taxi

Using a taxi service from Granada Airport to the city centre is the most comfortable and efficient option. The journey takes approximately 20 minutes in normal traffic.

Taxis in Granada should be white with a green diagonal stripe across the door. A light on the top will indicate if the taxi is free (green) or occupied (red). Granada Airport taxis are generally trustworthy when taken from the official ranks, but make sure the taxi has a licence displayed inside.
