The official state taxi service serving the airport, Baku Taxi,  has a taxi booth in Terminal 1 where you can book a ride. You can also call their call centre (1000) and book a taxi, or through the Mobile App. The taxis are located at the exit of Terminal 1 of Heydar Aliyev International Airport.

You can get the bus from Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 at Baku Heydar Aliyev Airport – you’ll just need to follow the appropriate signs.

Although a great budget alternative, the bus compared to a taxi is far less convenient, especially when travelling in a larger group or with younger children. You may have to wait a while to get on the next bus, which can be tiring after a long flight. The bus also fails to offer door-to-door transportation, seeing as you will need to walk or find another way to get to your accommodation once you get off at “28 May Metro Station”.

The bus can accommodate up to 48 passengers, all of whom need to be seated. During peak hours, if the shuttle bus fills up you will have to wait for the next one to depart.
