Baku, the capital and biggest city of Azerbaijan is a sophisticated place with plentiful cultural activities and a bustling nightlife for all tastes. In fact, its contemporary buildings are absolute works of art and bewitch visitors and locals alike. One of its world-renowned museums one can check out is the State Art Museum, founded in 1924.
If you’re flying in, you have three ways to get from Baku Airport to the city centre; taxi, private transfer, or bus. The most comfortable way to get to your hotel or apartment downtown is to get a taxi or pre-book a private transfer; a cab will need only 20 minutes to get from Baku Airport to the city. The other alternative would be to take the Baku Aero Express bus which directly connects the airport to the city. The bus takes about half an hour and costs just €0.80 (AZN 1.50).
Welcome Pickups offers meet and greet services and a friendly introduction to Baku at the same price as a regular taxi. Click here to see the cost.
