Taxis are readily available 24/7 outside of the arrivals terminal at Malta Airport. You can easily spot the official airport taxis as they are white and with a “TAXI” sign on top.

The Malta Airport Bus Terminus can be found directly outside of the arrivals terminal. The X4 bus is white and lime green, or white and sky blue. You’ll need to get off at “Il-Belt Valletta” bus stop in the city centre of Valletta and make your way to your hotel from there.

Convenience

Although taking the X4 bus is the cheapest transfer option, it’s not the most convenient. Not only does it make multiple stops along the way, but after you arrive in Valletta city centre, you will need to switch to another form of transportation to get to your final destination.
