The Malta Airport Bus Terminus can be found directly outside of the arrivals terminal. The X4 bus is always white and lime green or white and sky blue.

Although taking the X4 bus is the cheapest transfer option, it’s not the most convenient. Not only does it make multiple stops along the way, but after you arrive in Valletta city centre, you will need to switch to another form of transportation to get to your final destination.

Editor’s Note

The X4 bus leaves you at Valletta stop 18, which is not a bus station, so you will need to walk to another bus stop to head to your hotel or take a taxi from the street.

Useful Tips

There's no luggage storage under the bus, so if you are travelling with large suitcases you may wish to take another transfer option.
The bus driver only accepts payments in cash, so be sure to carry some change.
Ticket prices drop to 1.50€ in low season.
