As of 2016 a modern tram line was built joining the Antalya airport to the city centre at the İsmet Paşa tram stop. The modern tram, AntRay Light Rail, runs from Fatih to Expo, passing through the AYT airport. The tram is a very convenient transportation service from Antalya airport as it is direct and the travel time to the centrally located tram stop, İsmet Paşa, is 40 minutes.

The airport’s tram station is only a short distance away from the Domestic Terminal (iç Hatlar, Terminal 3) and the International Terminal (dış Hatlar, Terminal 1).

For those on a budget and are not in a rush to get to their final destination, taking a bus from Antalya airport to the city centre is a good transportation option. The bus line n° 600 runs between AYT airport and Antalya Bus Terminal (Otogar), which is Antalya’s main bus station located 5 kilometres northwest of downtown Antalya. If you are headed to the centre of Antalya, you should stop at ‘Yener Ulusoy’, which takes between 45 minutes to 1 hour, depending on traffic conditions.

It is also good to know that the bus stop closest to downtown Antalya is 1.5 km away, which means that you will either have to walk to your final destination or you will have to take a taxi.
