The taxi industry at Faro is generally considered very reliable compared to other European cities, with a negligible amount of annual tourist scams. Currently, there are only two options of public transportation to the centre of Faro; the bus line No16 and No14. The most reliable of the two is the line No16 because it offers connections throughout the day from 05:20 am until 12:10 am. On the other hand, the line No14 is a round-trip bus from the beach available only four times a day. Both buses take around 20 minutes and one way tickets cost 2.25€.

How much is the bus from Faro airport to city centre?

Unlike most airports, the ticket for either Line No16 or No14 can only be purchased from the driver in cash. Regular one way tickets cost 2.25€ and unfortunately there is no return trip option.
