A cheaper – although not the fastest option is to take the bus, which costs €4 (TWD 125) per single ticket. If you want both a cheap and fast option, you can take the Taoyuan metro, which can take you to Taipei City in about 36 minutes for €4.80 (TWD 150) but be prepared for large crowds, especially during peak hours.
