The bus stand is just outside the arrivals hall. Once you exit the airport, you will see the bus stop located 100 meters, slightly on your right-hand side.

There is only one minibus which operates the transfer from Kavala airport to the city centre. The bus timetable is quite frustrating; there are only two scheduled buses per day, one early in the morning and one in the evening. However, it is claimed that whenever there is a flight, there will be a bus waiting for the passengers. It is a fact that the bus driver waits some time until all passengers are on board, nevertheless, collect your luggage and exit the airport as soon as possible since the only option if you miss the bus, is hiring a taxi.
