Operated by Translink, the train runs along the Canada Line between the YVR–Airport Station and Waterfront Station (Downtown Vancouver) in just 25 minutes, passing by South Vancouver and Queen Elizabeth Park along the way.

How much is the train from Vancouver Airport to Downtown?

A one-way train ticket from Vancouver Airport to the city costs €3 (CAD 4.65), which covers up to two Zones. However, all users traveling on the Canada Line leaving YVR are subject to a €3.40 (CAD 5) “AddFare” charge, in addition to the regular zone fare. 

You can purchase your tickets at the SkyTrain ticket machines on all Canada Line station platforms or from the 7-Eleven Store on Level 1 of the Domestic Terminal building. Both accept card and cash payments. Otherwise, you can opt for a contactless payment by tapping on the ticket machine with your credit/debit card.

The SkyTrain station is centrally located between Vancouver Airport’s International and Domestic Terminals. Head towards the Link Building, following the signs marked “Canada Line” or ask a member of staff for assistance.
