After landing in the wonderful Washington DC, you have two options to get from Dulles airport to downtown, you can either take a taxi or the metro. The quickest and easiest way to get into the city centre is by taxi or private Washington Dulles airport shuttle as it only takes around 40 minutes. The cheapest way is to take the Silver Line Metro train from Dulles to DC. However, It’s worth noting that there’s no Dulles airport metro line, so you will need to take a bus to reach the metro station before taking the train into the city center.
