The public bus from Puerto Vallarta airport to the hotel zone can be found on the highway that heads south towards Puerto Vallarta downtown. Exit the airport, cross the road and head right, towards the Paseo de las Flores road bus stop.

Although the public bus is a cheap airport transportation option in Puerto Vallarta, it’s not the most comfortable. Not only will you have to walk and wait in the hot sun with your luggage, but once you arrive in the hotel zone, you will again need to walk to your hotel. The buses are also often extremely crowded and hot, so not ideal if you’re travelling in a large group or have a lot of luggage.
