How to get from Kosice Airport to the city centre by bus

The airport bus line 23, run by the local transport company IMHD, is the only public transport option that connects Kosice Airport to the city. The bus makes several stops along its route, terminating at Station Square, the main train terminal, after around 20 minutes. From there, you can walk or take a bus or train to your final destination.

How much does the bus cost?

For tourists, there are two types of tickets that you can purchase for the bus: a paper ticket or a travel card which you can top up with money, or an electronic ticket. Tickets are available for either 30- or 60-minute journeys and can be purchased from the yellow ticket machines near the boarding platform using coins only.

A 60-minute fare costs €1 and an extra €0.90 if you’re travelling with luggage, bringing the total cost to €1.90 per traveller.
