Košice city lies on the Hornád River in eastern Slovakia amongst a landscape marked by rolling hills and beech forests. The main transport options that connect Košice Airport to the city centre are taxis, private transfers and a local bus. When you take a taxi or private transfer, you’ll have the convenience of minimal wait times and being dropped directly to your door in as little as 10 minutes, during light traffic. The bus is a very affordable option, although it takes 20 minutes and there can be long wait times, especially on weekends.
