The fastest and most convenient way to get from Lublin Airport to the city centre is to take a local taxi. There is only one taxi service company that is allowed to pick up passengers from the airport without a booking, and the journey into town takes just 25 minutes during light traffic.

When you travel by taxi from Lublin Airport you won’t be charged a flat rate fee. Where do I take a taxi from?

There isn’t an official taxi rank at Lublin Airport. Passengers can visit the service desk in the Arrivals Hall and customer service will page the next available driver to come and collect you from in front of the terminal.

How to get from Lublin Airport to Lublin City Centre by bus

Only the number 5 city bus, run by Lublin Municipal Transport Company (MPK), services the airport route and you’ll need to transfer to another bus at either Dworzec Autobusowy (the main bus station), Szewska 02 or Mełgiewska WSEI 02. Buses towards town leave regularly from any of these stations, stopping at Lublin Plaza Shopping Center. All included, your journey by bus will take around 50 minutes, but it is still a good option if you’re on a tight budget and don’t have a lot of luggage.

A one-way ticket for the number 5 bus, with a transfer to another bus into the city from Lublin Railway Station, costs €1.10 (PLN 4.80) per traveller. Tickets can be purchased on board from the driver.

A combined bus journey from Lublin Airport to the city centre is the best option if you are on a tight budget. Moreover, services run much more regularly than the train – except on weekends – although they do take twice as long. Also, keep in mind the need to get from the bus stop in Lublin to your final destination.

The train from Lublin Airport is one of the fastest and cheapest ways to get to the city centre, arriving at Lublin Główny in just 15 minutes. From there, you can connect with several buses that will take you further into the city in just 10 minutes, bringing the total journey time to 25 minutes, excluding potentially very long wait times.

Getting from Lublin Airport to the city centre by train is a quick and affordable transport option, with space for all of your luggage. Be aware that there is a brief walk required from the airport to the train terminal nearby to catch the train. Unfortunately, the train doesn’t run very often so it may not work with your flight’s arrival time.
