Trier is situated in the Rhineland-Palatinate region of Germany, on the banks of the Moselle and it is the country’s oldest city, dating back to Roman times. Not only is Trier a true trove of monuments and Roman ruins, but it is also a young and thriving place. Trier’s extensive classical heritage, medieval buildings and Gothic elements enchant travellers who travel miles to explore its cultural treasures and trendy clubs.
There are three ways to travel from Luxembourg Airport to Trier; taxi, private transfer or bus. Opting for Bus 302 is a good solution if you are on a tight budget or have time to spare, but please bear in mind that you will need more than 45 minutes to reach the city, not including waiting times.
