Alpharetta is located about 26 miles (42 km) from Atlanta and is about 36.7 miles (59 kilometres) away from Atlanta airport. To get from Atlanta airport to Alpharetta, you can either take an airport taxi or you can use Atlanta’s MARTA public transportation service. By taxi, the trip takes at least 35 minutes and the fare costs around $79 (€71.29). If you are travelling on a budget, you can take a train from the airport to the North Spring Station, where you will then have to transfer to a bus to go the rest of the way to Alpharetta. This combined trip costs approximately $3.50 (€3.17) per traveller and takes around 70 minutes.
