The cheapest way to travel from Gimhae Airport to Gyeongju is to take an intercity bus. Cheonma Tourism provides a direct intercity bus service from the airport to Gyeongju Intercity Terminal which takes 70 minutes, excluding wait times.

Where do buses depart from?

From the Domestic Terminal, you’ll find the intercity bus departure platform outside Gate 4 on P1. If you’re arriving at the International Terminal, buses depart from outside Gate 3 on P2.

Convenience

If you’re travelling solo or on a budget, the intercity bus is the most cost-effective option. Buses are comfortable and travel directly to Gyeongju, although you’ll still need to make your way to your accommodation from the bus terminal.

There can be lengthy wait times in between services, so if the bus schedule doesn’t line up with your flight’s arrival time, booking a private transfer in advance may be a better option if you prefer to get on your way as soon as you land.
