Editor’s Note

There are quite a few unofficial or ‘pirate’ taxis that operate between Domodedovo and Sheremetyevo. If anyone approaches you at the airport offering a taxi, avoid them, as unlicensed taxi drivers tend to overcharge tourists. Always book from one of the designated desks.

Useful Tips

Regardless of the company, all licensed taxis are yellow and have a visible TAXI sign on the roof.
As most of the taxi drivers don’t speak English, it’s best to let the taxi staff members know if you have any specific requests while you’re booking your taxi, so they can arrange this with the driver.
