Angkor Wat is the largest religious monument in the world. It is an archaeological park consisting of temples, which attracts millions of tourists each year and has become Cambodia’s top tourist destination.
The distance from Siem Reap International Airport to Angkor Wat is 6 km. To get there, there are two options; taxi and remork (the local tuk tuk). An airport taxi is the fastest and most stress-free way to reach Angkor Wat. The ride costs €10 (KHR 42,000) and takes around 10 minutes. The remork, on the other hand, is slightly more affordable, at €8 (KHR 33,500) per ride, taking more or less the same amount of time to get you from the airport of Siem Reap to Angkor Wat.
Welcome Pickups offers meet and greet services and a friendly introduction to Siem Reap at the same price as a regular taxi. Click here to see the cost.
