The Strasbourg Train Station, called Strasbourg-Ville, is an architectural chef-d’oeuvre of the historicist movement and a busy hub since over 20 million passengers use it annually. Strasbourg-Ville hosts connections with Paris and all major French cities, Brussels, and many German cities. Since 2007, the fast TGV train gets to Strasbourg.
If you arrive in the city by air and wish to continue your trip via railway, there are two ways you can get from Strasbourg Airport to the train station; taxi, or private transfer, and train. An airport taxi will drop you at Strasbourg-Ville in approximately 20 minutes, and the ride cost will be €35 more or less. On the other hand, the local TER train leaves from the train station next to the airport up to four times per hour, and a single ticket amounts to €2.90.
Welcome Pickups offers meet and greet services and a friendly introduction to Strasbourg at the same price as a regular taxi. Click here to see the cost.
