Sibenik is one of Croatia’s pearls on the Adriatic Coast. This medieval port city is known for its rich historical and cultural heritage, the country’s oldest town centre – surrounded by four castles – and two UNESCO World Heritage sites (St. Nicholas’ Fortress and St. Jakob’s Cathedral). With the nearby national parks and the chain of islands right off the coast, Sibenik is an idyllic destination for an all-around holiday.
If your flight arrives at Zadar Airport, there are two possible ways to get to Sibenik; taxi and bus. A local or pre-booked airport taxi is the most convenient and fast option, as it will take you to Sibenik in 55 minutes for around €120. The bus is a much more affordable way, at €13.65 per person, but there is no direct line from the airport, and you will have to go to the downtown central bus station first. The bus trip will take one hour and forty-five minutes, not including waiting times.
Welcome Pickups offers meet and greet services and a friendly introduction to Zadar at the same price as a regular taxi. Click here to see the cost.
