The Bergen Airport Bus, known as Flybussen, connects Bergen Airport with the train station. The bus service operates all year round, except on 1 January. It’s a direct and affordable journey that takes around 30 minutes to the ‘Bergen Busstasjon’ stop next to the train station. Note that the bus service does not run 24 hours a day.

A one-way ticket purchased online costs €15 (NOK 169) for an adult. Children up to 4 travel free, as do 4 children aged between 4 and 16 if accompanied by an adult. A ticket for a child travelling alone costs €10.50 (NOK 119) online, as do tickets for people over 67.

Line 1 of the Bergen City Light Rail (Bybanen) takes about 40 minutes to travel from Bergen Airport to Bergen Central Station. Though not the most convenient, this is the cheapest transport option.

The cost of a single ticket is €3.80 (NOK 44) for an adult and €1.90 (NOK 22) for children aged between 4 and 18 unless they are travelling in the company of a paying adult.
