Moreover, the buses can get quite crowded during peak times, which may be uncomfortable and unsafe if you’re travelling with younger or older family members or several luggage items.

Editor’s Note

Bus companies have ticket offices around the train station, and the respective bus usually stops right outside the associated office.

Useful Tips

Save your tickets as, often, you are required to return them to the driver before disembarking. You might be asked to buy another one at the end of your journey if you happen to misplace yours.
You can buy your ticket at the bus counters inside the airport in cash or you may wish to consider buying an EasyCard.

The train option is the least convenient due to the several transfers needed, so it’s only recommended as an option for experienced travellers – and mainly those travelling solo, light and on a budget.

Editor’s Note

Tickets for the non-reserved THSR seats can be purchased from the TRA website, ticket windows, or ticket vending machines at train stations 4 days prior to boarding. It’s common to be asked for your phone number and passport number if you want to buy tickets online.
