Getting from Edinburgh Airport to Glasgow by train is not as convenient as other transportation options as the service is not direct and it takes about an hour and a half due to multiple modes of transport. First of all, you’ll need to catch the tram from the airport to get to either Edinburgh Park or Haymarket. Both of these lines run frequently to Glasgow. From here, you’ll be able to board the ScotRail train which will take you straight to Glasgow Queen Street.

How much is a train from Edinburgh Airport to Glasgow?

You’ll need to buy two tickets for this option. An airport single tram ticket will cost about £7.50 (€8.70) and the cost of an off-peak single journey from Edinburgh Airport to Glasgow is approximately £14 (€16.30).  Booking online can get you a better price though.
