How to get from Punta Cana Airport to Bavaro by bus

The local buses in Punta Cana are called Guaguas. They are less like a standard bus and more like a large minivan. There are two different buses that operate from Punta Cana airport; to Higuey and to Verón. Both buses stop in Cruce de Verón, where you will need to change to another Guagua bus that will then take you to Bavaro. The total journey time is around 60 minutes from Punta Cana airport to Bavaro.
