As you leave the arrivals hall, you should see signs to the taxi rank which is located just outside the airport. It might look a little hectic, as lots of different taxi companies operate from the airport. Keep an eye out for the more reputable firms, such as Sverige Taxi and Taxi Stockholm.

You can catch the SL Pendeln commuter train from Arlanda Central Station in SkyCity to Solna Station. From there, you can jump on the SL 152 Bromma Airport bus to Bromma Flygplats. The total journey should take around an hour, excluding wait times.

The SL Pendeln train from Arlanda Airport to Solna runs every 30 minutes between 04:43am-01:13am. The 152 bus from Solna to Bromma Flygplats runs every 15 minutes between 06:26am-20:41pm Monday to Friday and 10:33am-18:03pm on weekends.

Arlanda Central Station is located in SkyCity, which can be found between terminals 4 and 5 at Arlanda Airport. It should be fairly easy to find, as there will be signs throughout the airport. However, if you’re unsure how to get there, one of the airport staff members will point you in the right direction.

Convenience

Having to switch from the train to the bus makes this transport option quite inconvenient, as it could result in long wait times. However, it’s definitely the cheapest way to travel from Arlanda to Bromma. If you’re on a budget and you’re not in a rush to reach Bromma Airport, this might be a good option.

If you plan to return to Stockholm, it might be best to purchase an SL access card. This re-loadable card costs €2 (20 SEK) initially and can then be topped-up as needed. It’s valid on all SL public transport services, including SL trains, buses, and some ferries. The card offers reduced ticket prices on travelcards which are valid for 75 minutes.
