The Flygbussarna runs every 30 minutes from Arlanda Airport Terminal 5 to Stockholm Cityterminalen, so look out for Terminal 5 signs when you land. Once you reach Stockholm, the Flygbussarna bus to Skavsta Airport leaves from the same location, so you should spot the bus stop when you get off the bus.

Taking the bus from Skavsta Airport to Arlanda Airport and vice versa is definitely the cheapest option. Finally, to get to the airport, you’ll need to take a ride on the local 515 bus for 10 minutes to reach Skavsta. The total journey should take around 2 hours, excluding wait times.

The SL Pendeln train to Stockholm Central runs every 30 minutes between 04:43am-01:13am. The SJ regional train to Nyköping C and the 515 bus to Skavsta run every hour between 04:56am-21:49pm.
Where do I get it from?
The SL Pendeln train leaves from Arlanda Central Station, which is located between Terminals 4 and 5 in SkyCity. You should spot signs for it when you land, but if you’re unsure where to go, a member of staff will be able to help. Once you reach Stockholm Central, the SJ train leaves from the same station, so look out for the right platform on the departure screens.
Convenience
While the 2 hour journey time on the train is similar to the bus, the train will cost slightly more and will involve more changes during the journey. With this in mind, the train would be considered the least convenient of the three Skavsta to Arlanda Airport transfer options.

Although the SL train does operate from early morning to late evening, the SJ train and the 515 bus finish operating before 22:00pm, so you might need to explore another transfer option if you’re landing between 22:00pm-05:00am.
