Colmar is a popular tourist destination located in the Alsace region of France. This quaint city is an eclectic mix of cultures from around the world, showcased by the Colmar Statue of Liberty, Little Venice and, of course, the world-famous old-world Colmar streets. If you’re visiting in winter, be sure to also check out the magical Colmar Christmas Market.
There are three different ways to get from EuroAirport Basel Mulhouse Freiburg to Colmar; taxi, bus or train. Taking a Basel airport taxi is the fastest and most stress-free option as it takes just 40 minutes and costs around €140. The Flixbus is the cheapest option, as a one-way ticket is around €9, but the journey time is at least 1 hour 15 minutes. Your final option is the train, however, this isn’t direct, so you will need to first take a bus to Basel SSB train station. The total journey time is 1 hour 15 minutes and the cost is around €20.50 one-way.
Welcome Pickups offers meet and greet services and a friendly introduction to Basel at the same price as a regular taxi. Click here to see the cost.
