The movie-like city of Strasbourg is the capital city of the Grand Est region in France. Both the architecture and culture there seamlessly combine German and French influences, to create the most unique French city. Be sure to try out the amazing blended cuisine, take a stroll along the Rhine River and catch a performance at the famous Gothic Cathédrale Notre-Dame.
There are three different transfer options from Basel airport to Strasbourg; taxi, bus or train. Taking a EuroAirport taxi is the fastest and easiest way to travel as it takes as little as 1 hour and 15 minutes and costs around €300. Taking the Flixbus is a cheaper transfer option, with tickets starting at €15, but the journey time is around 2 hours and 50 minutes. Another budget-friendly option is to take the train, which costs approximately €31.70 and takes around 2 hours, as it doesn’t run directly from Basel Mulhouse airport.
Welcome Pickups offers meet and greet services and a friendly introduction to Basel at the same price as a regular taxi. Click here to see the cost.
