Directions for your Basel Airport Transfer

EuroAirport Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg (BSL), also more simply known as Basel Airport is an international transportation hub located in the French Alsace region. The most unique thing about Basel airport is that it’s nestled at a tripoint between France, Germany and Switzerland. The airport is located just 7.5 km from the city centre of Basel, so taking a Basel airport taxi shouldn’t take longer than 15 minutes. 

After exiting the airport compound, your EuroAirport taxi driver will head east on Rte Douanière de l’Aéroport à Bâle. At the roundabout, your driver will take the second exit to continue along Rte Douanière de l’Aéroport à Bale, before reaching a second roundabout, and heading straight to Flughafenstrasse. After around 1.4 km, you will then head left onto Kannenfeldpl and then right onto Metzerstrasse. You will follow Metzerstrasse for around 450 m, before turning right onto Spitalstrasse. Eventually, this road becomes Spitalstrasse and then Totentanz, which you will follow all the way to Blumenrain. After around 230 m on Blumenrain, you will continue onto Schifflände, which will lead you into the city centre.
