Prague, the colourful and picturesque capital of the Czech Republic, really has it all. Rich with history and culture, you could wander its cobblestoned streets for hours and still discover something new around every corner. However, a visit to Prague wouldn’t be complete without a visit to the Old Town Square and its Astronomical Clock where mechanical figures come alive when the clock strikes each hour. For families, the Prague Zoo is one of the best in the world and the Prague Jewish Quarter is the top place to learn about the city’s history.
There are several transportation modes between Brno Airport and Prague; the main ones are a taxi or private transfer, or a combined public transport trip. A taxi or private transfer is the quickest and easiest way to travel and will only take around 135 minutes during light traffic to reach your desired destination in downtown Prague. A much cheaper alternative is to take a bus from the airport and connect with either a train or another bus, both of which have a journey time of around 170 minutes, excluding wait times.
Welcome Pickups offers meet and greet services and a friendly introduction to Brno at the same price as a regular taxi. Click here to see the cost.
