Built in 1838, Brno Main Train Station located in the centre of the Czech Republic’s second-largest city, is one of the world’s oldest train stations. As the main transport hub in Brno, the station serves both domestic and international destinations such as Austria, Hungary, and Germany.
The main options when travelling from Brno Airport to the train station are by taxi or private transfer, or by bus. Taxis and private transfers provide the quickest and most convenient option with a journey time of 15 minutes during light traffic. The cheapest option is to take a public bus which takes closer to 20 minutes, however, wait times for the bus range from 30 to 60 minutes, which may increase the trip’s total duration significantly.
Welcome Pickups offers meet and greet services and a friendly introduction to Brno at the same price as a regular taxi. Click here to see the cost.
