The total journey time is 40 minutes, depending on the traffic, but waiting times for both buses can reach up to 3 hours altogether. Even so, the ticket for the airport bus costs €1.80 whereas a ticket for the bus to Oia is €1.60.

The bus stop is located just outside the airport, between the buildings of arrivals and departures. You should get there as soon as possible. If the bus is full, which is quite common during the summer, you will have to wait for the next bus.

Between changeovers, waiting times and overcrowded buses, your transfer could take quite a long time.
