Hammamet is a beautiful beach town located in Tunis. Due to its clear water, picturesque boardwalk and plentiful beaches, it’s a popular destination for water sport enthusiasts and sun lovers alike.
To make the journey from Tunis airport to Hammamet, you have three options; taxi, bus or train. Taking a Tunis airport taxi is the most convenient option, as it takes just 60 minutes to reach Hammamet and costs around €16 (50 TUN). There’s also a STRGN bus that leaves once a day at 13:30, which takes 1 hour and 20 minutes and costs €10 (30 TUN) one-way. Your final option is the slowest, and that’s to take the train. There’s no direct train route, so you will need to take a bus first, and make a train change halfway through your journey. The total cost is €3.30 (10 TUN) one-way and the journey takes approximately 2 hours and 40 minutes.
