The Colectivos leave from directly outside of the main terminal at Oaxaca Airport. They are white minivans with their destination written on the front window.


Although a slightly cheaper transfer option from Oaxaca Airport to downtown, taking the Colectivo bus isn’t the most convenient choice. The shared vans only leave once full, so you could have a long and frustrating wait. There’s also no luggage storage on the bus, so you aren’t permitted to bring large suitcases on board with you.

The Colectivo buses are very small, there's no space for luggage or even large personal items on the bus.
