Kutaisi is a historic city in western Georgia and lies around 23 km east of Kutaisi International Airport. Among the country’s most vibrant and populated cities, Kutaisi is home to magnificent monasteries dating back centuries and is surrounded by striking natural beauty.
The only transport options available from Kutaisi Airport to Kutaisi centre are taking a taxi or private transfer. Quick and convenient, this journey takes about 25 minutes and will cost around €12 (GEL 35) for up to 4 passengers, although the price can vary.
Note: The Georgian Bus company used to offer a service into the city centre from Kutaisi Airport, but it has been cancelled and is due to return later in 2024.
Welcome Pickups offers meet and greet services and a friendly introduction to Kutaisi at the same price as a regular taxi. Click here to see the cost.
