If you’re planning on visiting Macau, you’ll be landing at Macau International Airport (MFM), located 10 kilometers from the city center. There are three transport options to choose from to reach your next destination after landing, including a local taxi, private transfer, and public bus.
The quickest and most convenient way to cover the Macau Airport to city distance is with a Macau Airport taxi or a pre-booked Macau Airport transfer. These offer the only direct and door-to-door services from the airport, getting you to your hotel in roughly 15 minutes.
Although taxis in Macau are fairly affordable, an even cheaper option is to catch a public bus. There isn’t a direct service, however, so make sure you’re comfortable with making a transfer to a connecting bus. This option will get you to the city in around 25 minutes.
