Cluj-Napoca is an enchanting destination for anyone who wants to explore the legendary region of Transylvania. With landmarks dating back to the Saxon period, it’s a delight for history and culture buffs alike.
Luckily, Cluj-Napoca has its own airport: Cluj “Avram Iancu” International Airport. There are two ways to get from Cluj Airport to the city centre. The first is to take a taxi. This is the most convenient method for tourists. It costs around €8 (RON 40) for up to 4 people and shouldn’t take longer than 10-15 minutes.
Alternatively, the bus from Cluj Airport to the city centre is quite regular and reliable. It costs just €0.60 (RON 3) per person and takes 25 minutes to get to town.
If you’d prefer the comfort and ease of a private vehicle, you can private transfer for the same cost as a standard taxi. That way, you’ll get from Cluj Airport to town efficiently and learn about must-see spots and interesting local facts from your friendly driver along the way.
Welcome Pickups offers meet and greet services and a friendly introduction to Cluj at the same price as a regular taxi. Click here to see the cost.
