Beppu, located 142km southeast of Fukuoka International Airport, is a stunning city nestled in the northern part of Oita. So when visiting the unique city, you will be landing at Fukuoka airport, and you have three options to transport from Fukuoka airport to Beppu; you can take a taxi, a train from Hakata Station or take a bus. The easiest and most comfortable way to get to Beppu is to take a Fukuoka airport taxi or private transfer, as the trip is direct and takes 1 hour 45 minutes to reach your Beppu hotel. Alternatively, you can take the train, although you will first need to make your way to Hakata Station beforehand. From there, you can take a train which takes 2 hours. Finally, for travellers on a budget, you can get a direct bus to Beppu, which takes 2 hours and 20 minutes.
