If you’re planning on travelling to Tropea from Lamezia Terme Airport, your options include a taxi, private transfer, or the train. The quickest and most convenient option is to take an airport taxi which takes 55 minutes in light traffic, however, this option can be a little pricey. A much more affordable option is the train which first requires a taxi or shared airport shuttle bus to reach the station. The train will set you back around €6.20 per person but be prepared to wait several hours in between services.
*There isn’t a direct bus from Lamezia Terme Airport to Tropea but if you still wish to travel by public transport, the train is your best option.
