Montevideo Airport is located approximately 110 km from Punta del Este. You have three transportation options to get from Montevideo Airport to this popular holiday destination; taxi, private transfer or bus. The most convenient and comfortable way to get there is by taxi or private transfer. The journey takes around an hour and a half in normal traffic conditions and takes you door-to-door.
Alternatively, you can take one of the COT buses for just €7.60 (UYU 325). Buses run a couple of times an hour and drop you off at Punta del Este bus station. If you’re travelling on a budget, there’s no better option.
