Vigo train station, also known as Vigo-Urzáiz Station, is a large transport hub located in the city centre of Vigo. You can take high-speed trains all along the Atlantic Axis, to places such as Pontevedra, Santiago de Compostela and A Coruña with ease.
To get from Vigo Airport to Vigo train station, you can take a local taxi or pre-book your transfers with a private company. A local Vigo Airport taxi will cost €25.50 and will take around 15 minutes to reach the train station. It is possible to get from Vigo Airport to Vigo train station by bus, but it will require you to walk around 12 minutes along the highway to the airport bus stop, take a bus to Vigo city centre, then walk another 15 minutes from the bus stop in Vigo to the train station. The buses also only leave once or twice a day in this direction and the journey will take around 1 hour and 30 minutes in total, so it’s very inconvenient and not recommended, neither for locals, nor tourists.
Welcome Pickups offers meet and greet services and a friendly introduction to Vigo at the same price as a regular taxi. Click here to see the cost.
