The world-famous Niagara Falls is on many people’s bucket lists, and for good reason! Just 40 km away from Buffalo airport, Niagara Falls is actually comprised of three separate waterfalls; Horseshoe, also known as Canadian Falls, is the largest and borders Ontario, whereas American Falls and Bridal Veil Falls are both on US soil. Visitors can venture out to the beautiful surrounding natural area for a variety of outdoor activities such as hiking, camping, and fishing. Popular attractions also include the Aquarium of Niagara, the Daredevil Museum, and the Schoellkopf Museum which are dedicated to the Falls.
To get from Buffalo International airport to Niagara Falls, there are two options. A taxi or private transfer is the only direct route available and takes around 35 minutes. There is also the option of taking public transport, but this will require you to first get from Buffalo airport to downtown by bus and then get a second bus to Niagara Falls with a total travel time of about 2 hours.
Welcome Pickups offers meet and greet services and a friendly introduction to Buffalo at the same price as a regular taxi. Click here to see the cost.
