Cardiff Central Railway Station is the main train station in the centre of Cardiff. This train station is the busiest in Wales and offers connections to South Wales, North Wales, West Wales and most major British cities too.
There are three different ways to get from Cardiff Airport to Cardiff train station; taxi, bus or train. Taking a Cardiff airport taxi is the quickest option as it takes just 25 minutes and costs around £43 (€45). On the other hand, taking the 304 bus is the cheapest option as it costs £3.40 (€4) per passenger, but does take around 1 hour and 30 minutes to reach the train station. Your final option is the train, which costs around £6 (€7.50) and takes 1 hour to reach Central Station, but it doesn’t leave from the airport, so you will need to take a bus first.
Welcome Pickups offers meet and greet services and a friendly introduction to Cardiff at the same price as a regular taxi. Click here to see the cost.
