Hoi An is a historical city in the Quang Nam Province of Vietnam. It is a wonderfully preserved 15th to 19th-century South East Asian trading port, combining the architectural fusion of local and foreign influences. It has been a UNESCO World Heritage site since 1999 and a must-see destination when visiting the city of Da Nang or central Vietnam.
Hoi An lies 30 km south of Da Nang Airport and direct transportation options are available from the airport. The journey takes between 45-90 minutes depending on traffic and method of transport, with the most convenient, fastest and most comfortable option being the use of an airport taxi. The other way of getting to Hoi An is using a shared shuttle service. A public bus used to be available as well, though the service was suspended due to the Covid pandemic and is yet to resume.
Welcome Pickups offers meet and greet services and a friendly introduction to Da Nang at the same price as a regular taxi. Click here to see the cost.
