For the first leg of the journey, you’ll need to catch the bus to Calangute via Panaji, getting off at the Panaji KTC Bus Stand. From there, you can take the Pernem via Pedne service, taking 1 hour and 30 minutes to reach Arambol.

The total duration of the journey is 2 hours and 30 minutes, however, buses are not frequent and waiting times can make the trip anywhere up to 4 hours long.

The Calangute bus leaves from the airport 5 times a day: 07:30, 08:00, 13:30 and 16:15 and 20:30.

Where can I catch the bus from?

The bus stop for the “Calangute – Dabolim Airport via Panaji” route is located opposite the terminal building on Airport Road. Note that it’s a 10-minute walk to get there after exiting the Arrivals Hall. Once in Panaji, the bus leaves from the same bus stand, so you just have to wait for the next service.

Taking the bus is the cheapest way to travel to Arambol Beach, however, there are only a few buses a day, and the journey can be up to 4 hours long depending on waiting times. If you’d rather skip public transport altogether, taking an airport taxi is a better option as it’s significantly faster and moderately priced.
