First, you’ll need to take the Calangute – Dabolim Airport bus towards Calangute via Panaji. The KTCL bus service to Calangute departs 5 times a day and stops at Panaji before reaching Calangute. The journey from Goa Airport to Panaji KTC Bus Stand takes approximately 50 minutes and you’ll pay about €2.20 (INR 200) for your ticket.

From there, you can take a Panaji-Badem bus, the ride is about 45 minutes and you’ll get off at Anjuna Charrasta in Anjuna, which is about a 15-minute walk from Vagator. Waiting times for the direct service to Anjuna Charrasta is 1-2 hours, sometimes longer. 

If you’d rather avoid waiting, a few in-direct services are running the same route from Panaji, however, you’ll need to get a bus to Mapusa and then get another bus to Badem or Anjuna.

The bus stop for the “Calangute – Dabolim Airport via Panaji” route is located opposite the terminal building on Airport Road. Note that it’s a 10-minute walk to get there after exiting the Arrivals Hall. Once you’ve been dropped off at Panaji KTC Bus Stand, your next bus departs from the same place.
